GM Monie Velez
This is an appeal to the friends, students and everyone who has been touched by the Filipino Martial Art of Balintawak in general and Grand Master Monie Velez in particular.
GM Monie was hospitalized on January 8th for breathing difficulties. He had a low red blood count and required three packs of blood transfusion. It was also determined that he will need ongoing dialysis.
